Sony Show off 3 Dimensions Camera
Sony showed a single lens camera that can capture 3-dimensional images (3D). It complements the TV camera 3D Sony launched soon. According to Sony, the new camera works by taking images separated by a mirror and recorded on two sensors. Most current 3D settings use the system of two cameras to record images.
Prototype camera will be unveiled at Ceatec electronics show in Tokyo, Japan. The audience will be able to watch 3D images by using special polarized glasses. Without these glasses, the audience can only see the regular 2D TV, according to Sony.
The company says the camera is capable of capturing images with a very fast and suitable for sports events. The camera is one of Sony development undertaken to support the 3D TV will soon be launched.
